"Decoration is really about creating a quality of life, and a beauty in life that nourishes the soul, that makes life beautiful. That's what all this is about..." Albert Hadley
Great words of inspiration. As you know being a regular follower of our blog; our taste tends to gravitate towards old world which accomplishes what you describe. Have a great day! -Tonya
So true! Words I try to live by! It can be quite empowering when you let go and create a home that covers you like a warm blanket on a chilly evening. have a wonderful rest of the week Donna
Exactly. You can be surrounded by all that you require to live, but unless these objects are beautiful, they do nothing to uplift the spirit and feed the soul. Perfectly said Mr Hadley.
Hi! I read this in my parked car but I wanted to come back to you to tell you that this was such an inspirational quote. I love it!! Thanks for sharing:) xo, K
Link with love! I would be flattered to have you share my photos, but ask if you do pin or re-post an original image, please credit the photograph to Henhurst Interiors with a link back to this blog. My original photos and text are copyrighted. If it is not my photo please credit the original source which I will always indicate with a link. Many thanks!
Amen to that....I guess that is precisely why people need to put "whats in" and trendy aside and decorate for how THEY want to live!! Enjoy your day!

Cliches grow more true the older I get.....'name it to claim it'.
ReplyDeleteI beleive in words. If a client can't put together a mission statement for their garden I ask them to describe their finished garden.
